We are a group of individuals that met in late 2018 on an ocean cleanup initiative, and saw how difficult it is for charities to operate their IT infrastructure due to the lack of experienced voluenteers. So we decided to help. CharityInbox works exclusively with established charity organizations, and provides their members with a safe, secure, and anonymous email service completely for free. The tech operates on a custom system designed by our security lead (thanks Marcus!), and runs fully on our own private servers, meaning your data is not used and abused by anyone. As of 2023, we have paused the creation of new accounts in order to expand our infrastructure, and creation will come back in Q3 2025. All existing users will naturally have access to their accounts.

This depends on the organizaiton itself. Some organizaitons prefer to have it available only to management, while others give time-limited accesss to voluenteers.
We work exclusively on a personal invite basis. In the account creation screen, you will have to reference your organizaitons code and the code of the organization that invited you, which will be verified manually by our team. If all checks out, you will be good to go in no time!
Everything runs on our own servers, with our own tech, and our own unique protection system. To put it simply, extremely secure.
